Everything you need to know

This tour is possible year-round. The October to April period offers the best conditions for sea excursions: calm seas, optimal underwater visibility at Nosy Tanikely, and easy access to the Nosy Iranja sandbank. The cyclone season (January–March) may bring some rough sea days.

Yes. Sea turtles are present in the Nosy Tanikely Marine National Park year-round. Swimming and snorkelling in this protected reserve allows you to observe turtles, rays and a wide variety of tropical fish in an intact coral ecosystem.

Yes, this is one of our most family-friendly tours, suitable from ages 5–6. The boat excursions, lemur watching at Nosy Komba and the walk on the Nosy Iranja sandbank are all very accessible experiences. The pace is moderate and can be adjusted to suit the group’s needs.

Snorkelling equipment (fins, mask, snorkel) is generally provided for the Nosy Tanikely excursion. Please mention at the time of your quote request if you prefer to bring your own. If you have your own mask, we recommend bringing it for added comfort.

Domestic flights connect Antananarivo (TNR) to Nosy Be (NOS) daily, with a flight time of approximately 1h30. These flights are at your own expense and are not included in the tour price. The tour starts and ends at Nosy Be Airport (Fascene) — our team will be waiting for you on arrival.

Absolutely. This tour can be extended or combined with the Northern Madagascar Tour 11D (Tsingy Rouges, Diego Suarez, Montagne d’Ambre, Ankarana) for a more complete trip. We also offer bespoke stays around Nosy Be. Write to us at contact@lemursafari.com for a free quote within 24h.

A deposit of 30% by bank transfer or PayPal is required on booking confirmation. The balance is due 30 days before departure by the same method. No unsecured payments — all payments go through written booking confirmation.
